Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is hard to believe that the first month of 2009 has already passed. It has been a busy and exciting time as we progress into the new year. Here is the latest news about my concerts and other activities.

PICCOLO SPOLETO FESTIVAL

I am very pleased to announce that I have been invited to perform at this year's Piccolo Spoleto Festival, in Charleston, SC. Designed and launched in 1979 by the City of Charleston's Office of Cultural Affairs, this international, multi-arts festival offers 700 events in 17 days, from May 23 to June 8, transforming Charleston into an exhilarating celebration of performing, literary and visual arts, including art exhibits, classical music, jazz, dance, theatre, poetry readings, children's activities, choral music, ethnic cultural presentations, crafts, and film. (www.piccolospoleto.org)

My organ concert--one of only 10 scheduled during the Festival--will be held on Wednesday, June 3, at the Cathedral of St. Luke and St. Paul. I will provide more details as we move closer to the date--but I am most honored to have the opportunity to participate in this great event.
